'Twas cold, Hermes. Glad that you've left a message in the milk bottle. I've been missing your comments.

Monica. How nice that you were here. Wish I could have offered you a cup of tea!

November may be grey and cold, but I see some colours in-between :-)

Rune - you are showing signs of a very positive nature!

Nice image. I love dark dreary scenes like this but the little bit of color on the horizon adds a wonderful touch.

This one feels very lonely!

Hello Blogitse - I like the idea of a coldishly stylish hedgerow. 'Chill' seems to fit it.

Hello James - I can't claim credit for the colour on the horizon! Sometimes, when there's snow about, the sky goes pinkish - and there was snow on those hills (though not where I was taking the photograph from).

Hello Pat. Isn't it funny how a scene like this can feel lonely? I know precisely what you mean - even though I was standing on a path many people enjoy walking along. (Perhaps not many in the cold like this but, if I had stood there long, someone would have been bound to come along and ask what I was looking at!
