WARLEY MUSEUM

Phonebox housing Warley Museum - Museum of Wonders.

I've increased the saturation of this photograph so you can more easily see into the phone box. It is quite creepy - and includes such objects as a man and woman who share a neck but no head, models of dismembered hands and a naked doll which appears to have been made from horsehair. If you are able to enlarge the picture sufficiently (begin by clicking on it then zoom in) you will be able to take a look at the objects in this side of the display. Unfortunately the Museum was closed when I visited. Otherwise I would have been able to read the notices inside which might have explained what this is all about!

One for you to put on your (probably lengthy) places to visit list, then.
Intriguing display!
All the best :)

Hello Squirrel Basket. Indeed!
Desert Quilts has wondered whether there will be an ongoing discussion of dog poo over the summer. As the notices about it that I photographed are within walking distance of this museum, perhaps I should go back for combined visit to catch up on both.

The dog poo posts:
